28 weeks pregnant!
Any suggestions on stretch mark lotion, sleep positions and falling back asleep?

Babies born to moms with Gestational Diabetes?

I failed my glucose test today and go for the three hour test on Thursday.Has anyone had Gestational Diabetes during pregnancy and how did your baby turn out? I know he will be on the larger side, but what else should I prepare for?Doctors always minimalize stuff and I would like to hear from someone with experience having a baby with this condition.
Just to give you a heads up…this is just from my aunts experience that i know of…her four kids all were born with hyperglycemia and basically they already had the trait for diabetes. They just have to watch their weight and their diet, but they are not necessarily going to get diabetes.

I have GD, I was borderline with my GTT (just one or two points over on two tests) so I was diagnosed .. I follow my diet strictly and never slip up at all. Not even think about it. This is since week 29 or 30 and I am now at 36 weeks and 1 day. My baby shower was today and I had a piece of cake. Did anyone else do this? I also ate some turkey stuffing, and a cheesecake cupcake. This is all I ate that had any carbs, though. I’m scared something will happen to the baby now! Anyone else deal with this?
Nah, you’re fine. One day off the wagon isn’t enough to significantly affect the baby’s weight gain. As long as you don’t make a habit of it you’re fine.
Also, cheesecake doesn’t send my blood sugars up. I think there’s so much fat in it as well as some protein!
I had a piece of cake at my shower, too. Don’t worry, it won’t be too long before the baby is born and you can relax about food.

my boyfriend/ child’s father has been away from home for three and a half weeks and when he gets back i want to do something sexy for him but am unsure of what to do. im thinking about dressing up and doing a little show but am unsure of what he will think considering i am 28 weeks pregnant and definetly have a belly
what would any men think about this? also any suggestions

Be yourself he loves you and all he’s thinking about is your health and that of the baby your carrying. if he’s like me the sight of you pregnant will be enough to make him the happiest man alive there’s plenty of time for dressing up after the baby good luck with your man and the baby x
