Indeed, it does make working very challenging, especially for someone who works in retail or any kind of customer service. Customers may see an employee eating & consider it to be rude & inappropriate. Once they discover that the employee is hypoglycemic, they usually feel like jerks. I’m hypoglycemic myself(diagnosed in 2003 at age 19) & it’s certainly been a struggle.
