Hey, TigerRed, …
Hey, TigerRed, WHERE do you work?!?! That’s so amazing that they actually let you go to the break room if you’re crashing. I could never get my boss to understand. He wouldn’t understand me having to stop what I’m doing to sit down. He’s almost always got me on my toes doing stuff. I was unconscious for 45 minutes today in my warehouse (I work for a mattress store, my boss is usually in one of his stores selling, so he didn’t see me). Thankfully I was waiting on a customer pickup and had time.

In case this hasn’t …
In case this hasn’t been looked into by your endocrinologist there is a condition called hyperinsulinism that causes hypoglycemia. I know this because my son has it. There are two medications called Diazoxide and Octreotide that control the hypoglycemia. If you want to see my sons story look up baby hypoglycemia on here. Good luck to you!

Thanks for your …
Thanks for your video, it’s so helpful to see others sharing what you are going through. This is all extremely new to me as I have had some serious spells driving across the country this past week. One day I was in Atlanta on a six lane highway and my body went on a spiral in no time flat…was kinda scary. Still learning the eating the right food part of this, hope to pick it up quickly.

Sweetie, I know …
Sweetie, I know what you’re going through(was diagnosed in 2003) but you’ve got to take better care of yourself, which means not eating processed food. I don’t know u personally but from what I’ve heard, you’re not eating the right foods or often enough. It’s imperative to learn the difference between simple carbs(juice, candy) & complex carbs(fruits/veggies, whole grains). Small, frequent meals/snacks with lean protein & complex carbs are essential to maintain blood sugar.

I’m hypoglycemic …
I’m hypoglycemic and feel like crap about 1/3 of the time, sometimes every day.

It’s not fun, but it’s good that you know what to do to control it. I didn’t, and had a really sugary drink at the bar one night. My blood sugar plummeted, and I threw up for about two hours. It was horrible- people just stepped around me and treated me like a bum in the street, not a paying customer who worked for his money. The hypoglycemia affected my work habits too; when I crashed I had trouble with balance.

I’m sorry about …
I’m sorry about what you are going through now, but like you said, you can control it so that is a good thing. Start eating your protein. I can’t eat as soon as I get up so I make a shake, and then eat breakfast 3-4 hours later. I’m so happy to see your lip is doing better, did the wax finally help?

Thankfully I can …
Thankfully I can still tolerate milk, but I use the calorie countdown for the lower sugar count. What kind of yogurt do you eat? I have the Light and Fit Carb Control, but it’s not very filling. I’ll try to add some protein to it and see what happens.

Milk alone would throw me into the shakes and dumping. I drink soy milk. Do you like yogurt for breakfast? There are lots of different flavors and I blend mine with protien. Rather drink my yogurt then eat it. Take care girl!
