Is there are difference between hypoglycemia and hyperinsulinemia?

I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia a few months ago, but is it the same as hyperinsulinemia?
hyperinsulinemia leads to hypoglycemia, but hypoglycemia may mean you’re simply just not eating enough or often enough. hyperinsulinemia is producing too much insulin, resulting in high blood insulin levels. hypoglycemia means not enough sugar in the blood, or low blood sugar.

Hypoglycemia is not enough blood sugar.
Hyperinsulinemia is too much of the hormone insulin (converts blood sugar into stored sugar) in your blood.
There are several causes of hypoglycemia (diet, exercise, blood pressure etc) and hyperinsulinemia is one of the causes but if you’ve been diagnosed with hypo-g, it doesn’t mean u have hyper-i.

Hyperinsulinemia (fun word huh lol) is where your pancreas releases too much insulin into your blood stream. This would be a good thing if you ate like a cow, but since most people don’t, this is typically bad and probably WHY you were diagnosed with hypoglycemia (which they think is a precursor to diabetes). So the two go hand in hand basically, one is the SYMPTOM (hyperinsulinemia) and one is the DISEASE (hypoglycemia) (although hypoglycemia isn’t a disease, I used that for comparison reasons). But just change your diet a little to include more carbohydrates and some starches and you should be fine! At least you’re not diabetic like I am! Hope this helps.

Hypoglycemia means low blood sugar while hyperinsulinemia is a situation in which the pancreas secrets more insulin and in the same time there is hyperglycemia this situation can be shown in obese diabetic patients
