I have gestational diabetes and have had to take the glucose tolerance test with all three of my pregnancies. The orange tastes like a really sugary Sunkist. Also ask if they can chill it for you, much better. I didn't vomit but if you do you have to start over. I failed and am on insulin which is not the end of the world. Yes you have to follow a strict diet and not everyone has to be put on insulin, some can just be on the diet and exercise. Let me know how your results turn out. For one I had an orange drink. It tasted like a Sunkist or Orange Nehi and I gulped that thing like an idiot. It was sweet and I was off soda during pregnancy, so I thought it tasted wonderful. Not everyone does, but I liked the one I got. For my last pregnancy, they had 2 different breakfast meal plans you could eat before you came in to test. That one was easiest, but I had hoped I'd get my orange drink again, lol. I was negative for diabetes with all 3 kids.
