I have anxiety about my gestational diabetes test?

I have really bad anxiety and just by drinking soda or anything really sugary, I get anxiety attacks. I can kinda control them but I hate getting them. Is the drink really high in sugar?
don’t worry the drink they have you drink isnt great but it isnt to bad. It’s like a orange flavored sugar water. I just chugged mine to get it over with.
the drink isnt sugary, it actually tastes pretty good, its like a fizzy orange drink

It tastes like flat sprite… Except it’s syrupy and really sweet. It kind of reminded me of cough syrup.

just dont be worried the dr. knows and gestational diabetes is a easily controled sickness…ur fine just dont go overboard

its not bad, and it doesnt taste like pop or anything like that. its actually quite yummy, i liked it. i liked it so much i had to go back for the 3 hour…but i passed that one with flying colors!! but the drink contains mainly all gluclose.

Umm, yeah the drink is really high in sugar. It taste like really super sweet sprite. Carbs is what the body converts to sugar and if your body cant use insulin properly or make enough of it then you end up with a really high blood sugar levels. They just need to see how well your body does converting the sugar in the drink. Just tell whoever is doing the test about your anxiety and maybe tell will be able to help you.

it tastes like orange pop, i loved it lol. the nurse who did the test told me that the sugar level in it the drink is equivalent to 12 jelly beans.

Mine was orange too, it just tasted like flat sunkist soda with no fizziness. It’s not like POW sugar rush or anything like that. Just relax before drinking it, and you have a good hour to relax after taking it too before you need your blood drawn.

i just got done with this test i had to do one monday and my number was a little high so i had to do the fasting three hour test the glucose drink seriously tastes like flat orange soda but a little thicker the first test where i didnt have to fast wasnt that bad but the second one where i had to drink a whole bottle of it sucked i had to do that yesterday i was reading the bottle and it didnt say that it even had sugar in it come to think of it
