Am I 28 weeks or thirty weeks? I am so confused And if I am 28 weeks does this mean the baby will be huge?
your baby just may be measuring slightly big at the moment. it could mean you have a bigger baby, i wouldnt say huge or you might just have he/she a bit early. i wouldnt worry about it.x
go by ur period…its more acurate because your baby could just be measuring big and then yes you will have a big baby

it means you didnt find out you were preggers for two weeks, a pregnancy is 10 months not 9, but that first month you dont know if you are preggers, because the only way you do know is if you miss your period, thats the first month.

The ultrasound is plus or minus a few weeks. The further you are into the pregnancy the more the deviation is. 2 weeks either way is normal at this point. I have been a ultrasound technologist for 22 years. The baby is going to be normal sized most likely. The estimated fetal weight should have been done so they have that weight available with the report. Ask the next appointment for the results to make sure.

i would go with 30 weeks, but ask your doctor to clear the confusion for you. the sonogram is usually more accurate and they even changed my due date according to the sonogram. just ask your doctor and he will explain everything

At my 28 week appt, the dr said I was measuring 30 weeks as well. He said the baby will more than likely weigh 8 lbs or more. My first baby was born at 39 weeks and he weighed 8 lbs 13 oz. Most likely your baby will weigh more than average but if I were you I wouldn’t be worrying myself over it. Good luck!

your midwife may well change your due date. There is 9 days difference between my EDD nad my scan measurements but would not change my due date as they said there had to be at lest 10 days difference.

in most cases your ultra sound isn’t an exact science… even technology can make mistakes…if you know when you got preg or close to when you got preg then you do the math… also if you are eating like a horse then it stands to figure you baby will be a big one… so eat healthy and smart and not so much and you and your baby will be fine… consider the fact that maybe to the baby’s dad may be big boned or even you may have a big body structure… so be prepared . it wouldn’t hurt to take lamas classes and if you have already then look n to a class for C-sections as well just to be ready for what ever happens…
and don’t worry be happy and soon you will have a lil one in your arms.
cheers

I’m pretty sure the later you get in your pregnancy, the better chance of an ultrasound date being off. So I would stick to the 28 weeks if I were you. Good luck!

That means that you actual last menstrual date is wrong go back to the first day of your last period or then can mean you’re having a big baby.

You are still 28 weeks. You need to go by your last period. It just means that you are 28 weeks but your baby is a bit bigger……it’s normal.
